Post-doctoral Researcher

I received my Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens, specializing in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics. My masters degree was in Theoretical Physics and Technological Applications at the National and Technical University of Athens in collaboration with the National Center for Scientific Research (NCSR) “Demokritos" . The subject of my master thesis was "High cadence photometry on bright supernovae Type Ia" under the auspices of IAASARS. On January 2018, I collaborated with the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications & Remote Sensing (IAASARS) as a doctoral student and simultaneously, from June 2021, I was a support astronomer at the Nordic Optical Telescope (NOT) in La Palma, Canary Islands. As from June 2022, I am a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis, USA. Among my research interests are the early and late time evolution of supernovae, exotic phenomena like superluminous supernovae and transients.
